London Nautical School – Washroom Refurbishment
Situated in the very heart of central London, London Nautical School was established over 100 years ago. As well as vandalism issues, the Washrooms were old and outdated, meaning cleaning and maintenance were requiring significant upkeep expense.
The project included refurbishment to the pupil Washroom areas and included back to wall anti-vandal WC pans, Stainless Steel Washtroughs with vandal resistant push taps, full height solid grade laminate cubicles from our Velocity range, vinyl safety flooring and a complete hygienic wall cladding system. As well as the full strip out and installation Interfix also removed all the urinals and substituted with additional cubicles.
To ensure longevity of the Washroom, the materials and products were carefully chosen to suit the anti-vandal environment, as well as providing ease of cleaning and maintenance going forwards. The Washtroughs minimise the amount of water that gets on to the floor whilst pupils are washing their hands as most of the water captured within the Washtrough.
Despite being carried out during the busy holiday period, the result was hugely satisfactory.
