Washrooms at Grove Primary School
With the refurbishment of its pupil and staff toilets a matter of extreme urgency to ensure their readiness for the start of the new term, Grove Primary School in Surrey was in need of an established washroom specialist to carry out the project – from design to installation – to the highest specification in the shortest time possible. Interfix was more than up to the challenge.
Grove Primary’s existing staff toilets didn’t maximise the 7m2 space available and both these and their pupil facilities had become run-down in appearance. With just five weeks to complete the refurbishment during the school’s summer holidays, Interfix demolished and stripped-out the old cubicles in the staff toilets and embarked on a renovation that would see the area transformed into a smart, modern, safe and sanitised washroom environment with double the amount of staff toilets.
In both the staff and pupil washrooms, Interfix introduced new, slip-free, easy-to-clean vinyl flooring. Walls and floors were decorated using bright, welcoming colours and new lighting was installed. Cubicle ducts and vanity ducts, selected for durable as well as aesthetic purposes, were also supplied.
Thanks to the skills and experience of Interfix’s designers and installers, the Grove Primary School project was completed within the strict five-week deadline to the client’s full satisfaction. It ensured staff were presented with modern, additional toilet facilities and pupils given beautifully-refurbished washrooms that will stand the test of use and time for the start of the new school term.
