St Johns C of E Primary School in Maidstone, Kent contacted Interfix early in the year to discuss a washroom project that could take place during term time, prior to the summer holidays.

The existing toilets were tired and out of date and had a lot of exposed ugly pipework. Not only that, but there was also a small step in the doorway which was a dangerous trip hazard. So Interfix set to work with their design to improve the facilities.

Full strip out went ahead, including removal of all wall and floor tiles, followed by plastering, decoration, and installation of vinyl safety flooring, sanitaryware, radiators, Velocity cubicles, WC Ducting, Vanity units and new entrance doors.

Despite the timescale issues, Interfix successfully delivered the project during term time, with noisy works being carried out, out of hours to avoid disruption to the school.
