SOAS University of London, is the world’s leading institution for the study of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Having up to date Washrooms is key for this kind of organisation, they approached Interfix very last minute due to a budget constraint.
The project consisted of full refurbishment of 6 washrooms, the existing areas were tired and dated, they also wanted to increase the number of squat pans throughout the washrooms due to increasing demand. Once strip out was done, installation went ahead, including full height Velocity cubicles, Corian vanity tops, full sensor equipment (including direct WC flush – which means the toilets don’t have a cistern), and also a tri part tap set including sensor soap and hand dryers.
Last minute projects are always a challenge, and despite changes to the brief which resulted in delays, Interfix pulled out the stops and got the project completed before the students returned.
