Commercial Services Group approached Interfix to support them in the refurbishment of their washrooms, to bring them up to the standard of their recently refurbished offices.

CSG chose to partner with Interfix Washrooms for this project as they felt they could trust a local partner, and appreciated the recommendations put forward for the project, which included light-touch layout changes and a full re-design of the washrooms.

The washroom project was completed over three phases, to ensure continued use of the facilities throughout, and to minimise any negative impact on the Commercial Services Group’s staff. With limited space on-site, we provided a container to store all materials throughout the duration of the project.

The project which covered 3 male washrooms, 3 female washrooms and 3 disabled washrooms included a full strip out of the existing washrooms, vinyl flooring, hygienic wall cladding, WC duct panelling, SGL cubicles, new sanitaryware throughout, vanity units and the vinyl wrapping of existing doors to tie them into the new colour scheme. In some areas we proposed a new layout to make it more suitable, including the reception area male toilets, which we transformed to be a unisex specification – with two self-contained private cubicles complete with basin and toilet.

Whilst often overlooked, the washroom experience is a large part of your workforce’s working day – and a positive experience can contribute to your team’s overall wellbeing and satisfaction.
