Shanghai Commercial Bank’s London branch is based in the heart of the city. Their washrooms very outdated and the washrooms were scheduled to be upgraded along with the rest of the building.

Washrooms across all 4 floors were refurbished to a modern standard. Existing floor surfaces were removed and new tiled floors laid. Decoration of all walls, ceilings and doors was carried out as well as new WC duct panels (including integrated storage) and solid grade laminate cubicles from our Velocity range. The previous extract system was not functioning, so a new one was installed. Finally, to give the washrooms the prestigious look and feel that the bank is reputed for, Quartz worktops were installed with top mounted basins, sensor taps, back lit mirrors and bin chutes.

In some of the areas the floors were unstable, so our on-site team corrected this before tiling the floor. The work being completed while the building was still in use, so Interfix phased the project to ensure minimal disruption to the client. Once the work was completed, an issue with the plumbing system showed up, this was quickly rectified out of hours.

A great result, with brand new fresh looking washrooms, which now live up to the Banks’ reputation!
